Peace be with you, my friends.
What is Salvation? What does it mean to be saved? This question, although asked in simplicity, is not easy to answer. This is because Salvation is multi-faceted and complex. It is a life in which we live and a reality within which we are present. In this reality, Salvation is real. It is tangible. It is physical. The Bible often discusses Salvation in terms of a bodily Resurrection. It often discusses Salvation in terms of our humanity being restored and healed. At the center of all of this stands Christ, who recapitulates humanity, reversing both the nature and effects of the Fall.
This upcoming Sunday, I will be preaching on that topic, as we continue our Easter sermon series on Salvation. It is my prayer and hope to see you there and, if you are able to attend it, I pray that God richly bless you during the service.
You can prepare for the service, April 30, 2023, by reading 1 Cor. 15: 20-22, 45-49.
As always, if you are unable to attend, you can livestream our service on our FB page at 11am.
You can also livestream it from our brand-new website! www.dansvilleumc.org
