Peace be with you, my friends.
Money is an integral part to our lives. We all use money. We use money to pay bills, like paying our mortgage/rent, paying our electric bill, or paying our lawn service. We use money to afford the necessities of life, such as food, clothing, shelter, transportation, and communication.
We use money for luxuries like designer clothing, jewelry, or that sweet John Deer lawn mower. We use money to pleasure ourselves with hobbies like fishing, sports, or video gaming. We use money to gain an education. We use money to pay off loans. We use money to buy gifts for our loved ones. The list goes on. Furthermore, there is much overlap in this. For example, a luxury could be a hobby.
I wonder, though, do we use our money to worship God? This is at the heart of tithing, for tithing is an engagement in worship.
